How it Works
Payapps imports project and commitment details from Procore so that progress claims can be managed collaboratively with subcontractors via Payapps. Payapps also provides for the further breakdown of Procore’s commitment schedule of values to a lower level of detail, which Payapps keeps in sync with Procore’s values.
Subcontractors are invited to contract from within Payapps after the commitment has been imported from Procore. Subcontractors then submit progress claims via Payapps, including any compliance requirements related to the subcontract. Submitted claims are then assessed by the General Contractor (GC) in Payapps, with flexible workflow settings. Where subcontractors have raised variations, the GC links these to variations created previously in Procore prior to approval. Upon claim approval, Payapps sends the approved claim to Procore as a requisition on the commitment. Payapps then generates the payment schedule and emails it to the subcontractor. Payapps consistently checks Procore balances to ensure consistency between the products.
